Behind the Gains by Hispanic Magazines

Last year was tough on consumer magazines. Ad pages fell 3.1 percent after starting the year in positive territory. Only a handful of magazine categories actually saw gains, and one of them was Hispanic titles. The four major titles tracked by the Publishers Information Bureau saw ad pages jump 23.3 percent, and ad revenue was up across all Hispanic titles by 18 percent, to $215.5 million, according to Hispanic magazine monitoring company Media Economics Group....
