The Publishing Business Conference & Expo, the nation's largest conference and expo for book, magazine and journal publishers, will take place September 23-25, 2013, at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square. The Publishing Business Conference & Expo is produced each year by the Publishing Business Group and Book Business and Publishing Executive magazines.

We are also pleased to announce that this year, our book and magazine tracks will be joined by a new STM/Scholarly track.

For our visionary, industry-leading conference program, we are seeking qualified speakers to share their expertise in a wide range of publishing areas including:
  • Business Strategy
  • Digital and E-media
  • eBook and Digital Magazine Technology
  • Production and Manufacturing
  • Editorial Development
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • Audience Development
  • Workflow
  • Sales and Distribution
  • Social Media
  • Emerging Technology
Call for Speakers Procedure
All submissions must be e-mailed to Lynn Rosen, Editorial Director, at lrosen@napco.com For your submission to be considered, it must be received by Friday, March 15, 2013.

As the vast majority of our speakers each year are book and magazine publishing executives, we are particularly interested in professionals currently working at publishing companies. If you're a vendor or consultant who serves these markets, we ask that you include a publishing client as a co-speaker in any speaker proposal.

Please include the following in your proposal:
• a tentative name for the session
• a 1-2 paragraph description of the session and what attendees can expect to learn
• the name, title and company of the speakers(s)
• the speaker's bio

Please note that all speakers selected to present are entitled to a complimentary full conference registration.

Have Another Idea? Let's Hear It!
The subject areas above are only intended to scratch the surface. We're open to other ideas, too. If you have an idea for a speaker other than yourself or a topic you'd like to see at the Publishing Business Conference & Expo, just send an e-mail to Lynn Rosen at lrosen@napco.com
