RISI to Launch New Magazine for Pulp and Paper Industry

November 21, 2008

Boston-based RISI, an information provider for the global forest products industry, announced this week the launch of a new magazine that will cover the entire pulp and paper industry. Pulp & Paper International magazine (PPI) will reach more than 30,000 subscribers in North America, Europe. Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East starting in January 2009 and will reach the largest print circulation in the paper and pulp sector.

The new magazine is the result of RISI's decision to combine its two publications -- Pulp & Paper and PPI -- to create a global publication.  Pulp & Paper International will be written and edited by RISI's international team of editors including Graeme Rodden, Mark Rushton, Felicia Willis and Annie Zhu.

"With ongoing globalization in the pulp and paper industry and the audience's need to know what's going on around the world, we have decided to unite the two most powerful magazines in the sector -- Pulp & Paper and its sister publication PPI -- to create one global force."

The magazine will also be available via digital edition to approximately 10,000 subscribers.
