2007 Publishing Executive Hall of Fame Inductees Announced
Publishing Executive magazine has announced the 2007 class of inductees into the Publishing Executive Hall of Fame, an honor bestowed on leading publishing executives in magazine, book, catalog and advertising production. The 2007 class, comprised of three inductees, touts a combined 112 years of experience in their respective industries.
This year’s inductees for their distinguished careers in magazine production are Louis Milani, senior director, publishing operations and business affairs at Consumers Union and Marie Myers, senior VP manufacturing of CMP Media. With a combined 81 years of magazine publishing experience between them, Milani and Myers will be joined in this year’s Hall of Fame class by Michael Weinstein, VP, EDP and manufacturing, Oxford University Press, whose career has spanned 31 years in book publishing.
Milani, Myers and Weinstein will be recognized for their achievements during an induction ceremony at the Gold Ink Awards/Hall of Fame Banquet at McCormick Place in Chicago on Monday, Sept. 10. The banquet is held in conjunction with the Printing Impressions/RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame during Graph Expo.
