ALM Announces Changes to Leadership Team
ALM announced two promotions today appointing former senior vice president and chief marketing officer Lenny Izzo to the role of president of legal media, while current chief content officer Molly Miller will take on the CMO position.
"This is an exciting time for ALM as we move forward with our acquisition strategy, and with Lenny's professional experience and impressive track record here at ALM, he couldn't be better positioned to help guide us to continued success," said ALM CEO Bill Carter in a press release. "Similarly, we are very fortunate to be able to draw on someone of Molly's exceptional caliber to step in and add the CMO role to her responsibilities."
Both executives have distinguished themselves at ALM. Izzo, who joined the company in 2011 is recognized for ramping up ALM's legal events business. Miller joined ALM in 2012 as publisher of The Recorder and oversaw the brands print and digital relaunch in 2014 to bring greater coverage to lawyers working in a tech economy. She also was named publisher of ALM's flagship website Law.com, which shares legal and business news from across the ALM network.
As Publishing Executive has reported, ALM has worked hard in recent months to power its business with savvy use of data. Read more on ALM's digital strategy, use of behavioral data, and the tech infrastructure to support these efforts.
