While at Frontline, Golis has helped expand the series' digital-first original reporting and analysis, grow its digital audience by more than 75 percent, and launch a series of award-winning experiments in interactive video. In 2012, the program received an Online Journalism Award for General Excellence.
Previously, Golis was the Editor of Blogging and a Politics Editor at Yahoo News, where he built a network of reported blogs—Yahoo's first foray into originally created content—for the biggest digital news audience in the country. Before that, he was the Deputy Publisher of Talking Points Memo, where he helped manage that company's explosive editorial, audience, and business growth as it transitioned from a one-man blog to a fully staffed news organization.
Golis, who was named to Forbes's annual "30 Under 30" list for media in 2012, is a graduate of Harvard University.
