Application: AOM Pubs
Produced by: Dartmouth Journal Services and Sheridan Technology Lab
Platform: iPad & iPhone
The Academy of Management (AOM), a professional association for scholars of organizational management, recently selected Dartmouth Journal Services and Sheridan Technology Lab to develop a multi-journal app. Journals included are the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Learning & Education and Academy of Management Perspectives. Scheduled to come out in mid-July, this app will give AOM members complete access to full-text articles regarding theory, research, and practice in the field of management. Non-members are also given access to abstracts and free content for a time period of ninety days after the release of an article.
The app allows users to view, save, and search articles, publish ahead-of-print content, view high-resolution images, videos, podcasts and newsfeeds, and bookmark pages. They are also able to receive instant alerts when new information is posted and can share content through e-mail, Twitter, and Facebook. A Sheridan-exclusive "bonus feature" gives users the freedom to access full-text articles at any time, whether or not they have access to a network connection. PE
