Book Business to Be?New Name for BookTech Magazine
PHILADELPHIA -- BookTech Magazine has expanded beyond its traditional core focus of print production, workflow and manufacturing, and beginning in January 2006 will be known as Book Business.
"The hugely successful publication has evolved with the changes in the book market, and has expanded its mission to have a wider appeal to all business executives at book publishing companies," says Noelle Skodzinski, editor in chief.
"The mission of Book Business is to reveal strategies for improving book publishing management and processes, cutting costs and reducing time to market for publishing companies of all sizes," says Skodzinski.
Book Business will continue its exclusive coverage of workflow and manufacturing best practices, and of the technology making an impact on book publishing today. In addition, Book Business will also include bottom-line-oriented case studies and news written for CEOs, Presidents and VPs on business management, marketing, market trends, distribution & fulfillment, packaging, content management, design, industry people and events.
"Book Business will thrive as the sole industry magazine providing information to book publishing executives on how to succeed and build their companies' profits in an evolving marketplace," says Mark Hertzog, group publisher.
"We are excited to add marketing, distribution and more business management to our editorial coverage, and to welcome the many new readers and advertisers who are signing on in support of our expanded direction."
