Custom Content Council Celebrates Potpourri of Pearls
(Press Release) NEW YORK, NY (October 20, 2010) — The Custom Content Council will celebrate 50 companies on Thursday, November 11th at the seventh annual Pearl Awards Ceremony at The Water Club in New York City. The Pearl Awards recognize excellence in custom media in the areas of design, editorial and strategic initiatives in print production and digital custom media.

This year, 569 entries were submitted into the competition from 71 companies, up from 469 entries and 57 companies in 2009, reflecting the growing strength of the industry. Entries were judged simultaneously in three different cities across the country: New York, D.C. and San Francisco. Entries included magazines, newsletters, websites, blogs and videos published for clients from a wide range of industries: tourism, travel, technology, automotive, health, retail and more.
The awards will be presented by Cat Greenleaf, Features Reporter, NBC 4 New York, and Host, "Talk Stoop with Cat Greenleaf," and Abe Peck, Professor Emeritus and Director of B2B Communication, Northwestern University.
This year's program will honor winners in 42 categories and include a presentation of the fifth annual John Caldwell Award.
