Dalim Software Selected to Process Content for Zinio's Site Network
Kehl, Germany – Dalim Software announced today that Zinio, the world's leader in digital-content design and distribution, has selected a robust Dalim Software workflow automation solution for its site network of online stores. Integrated by master distributor Blanchard Systems, the Dalim Software solution, based on DALiM TWiST, automatically processes digital data submitted by publishers of magazines and periodicals.
Currently, millions of Zinio customers purchase digital magazines and books from the San Francisco-based company’s global site network of stores, either individually or via subscription. In doing so, readers can enjoy their favorite publications digitally – as well as search, save and share their favorite content in real time – virtually, from anywhere in the world.
The DALiM TWiST-powered solution, designed by Dalim Software – developer of customer facing applications for brands, publishers, advertisers, printers, premedia organizations and converters – plays a key role in Zinio's workflow, processing publication files into the digital file format required for onscreen reading. Automation makes the process more time- and cost-efficient, and also unlocks new opportunities to automate the customization of digital magazines – for example, with targeted advertising content.
"Beyond being the automation tool of choice for many printers and converters, the Dalim Software workflow engine was also designed with the requirements of tomorrow's publishing in mind," comments Dr. Carol Werlé, Dalim Software CEO. "We are thrilled to help our clients reach new readers through various, innovative channels of content distribution efficiently and, above all, automatically. As the world’s largest digital newsstand, Zinio identified, quite early, the need for automation. Because of our shared technology, our mutual customers will reap the benefits of our collaboration much sooner than others."
