Editor's Note: Radio Personalities from NPR to Keynote 2009 Publishing Business Conference
Publishing Executive magazine, which produces the Publishing Business Conference & Expo, announced this week that a pair of radio personalities from National Public Radio will deliver the keynote address at this year's show on March 23 at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square.
Adam Davidson, correspondent, international business and economics, and Alex Blumberg, contributing editor, NPR's Planet Money, will address attendees with their keynote titled, "Where Is the Global Economy Headed, and What Does It Mean for You?" Their 45-minute presentation, which is open to all full conference attendees and free exhibit pass holders, will offer a straightforward explanation of the causes and consequences of the financial meltdown, and a look ahead at what the future holds for our country, our industry, and our business.
The Publishing Business Conference & Expo, scheduled for March 23-25 in New York City, features more than 50 sessions led by more than 100 publishing executives as part of a robust conference program that aims to help publishers weather the current storm. The Expo features a hall of 100 leading industry suppliers. A full conference pass, including admission to all three days of sessions, the exhibit hall and a special networking reception, is available at the Early Bird rate of just $675.
