The events industry has grown at an average pace of 6.2% each year globally since 2003 and is projected to grow 5.5% per year through 2011. The world's leading event organizer, Reed Exhibitions, holds no more than a 7% share of the global market.

Tracking the Travels of the First E-ink Cover
Esquire's 75th-anniversary e-ink cover took more than one year to produce and traveled more than 7,000 miles from its creation in Shanghai, China, to newsstands across the United States. The issue's display screen was assembled in Shanghai from components made in seven factories. During the process, more than 25,000 of the cover's batteries were destroyed in a flood. In total, components of the cover traveled through three countries.
The batteries will last roughly 90 days.
B-to-B Execs Engaged by B-to-B Media
Business decision-makers are highly involved with all industry-specific media: 64% of business-to-business executives read three or more trade magazines in the last month, and 51% attended three or more conferences or trade shows during the last 12 months.
