FUSE Award Winners Announced, Naming Best Tech Companies, Startups & Publishers
Last week at FUSE: The Convergence of Media & Technology, Publishing Executive welcomed media executives and technologists to Philadelphia to discuss emerging technologies and the future of media. The goal of the 2 ½-day summit was to spur candid conversations between publishers and solutions providers and offer a roadmap to help media companies navigate industry disruption. We invited leaders from Forbes, Time Inc., IBM Marketing Cloud, and more to share how they are making sense of a myriad of publishing platforms, developing rich audience databases that guide advertising and editorial strategies, and creating new methods to monetize content.
Throughout the event, publishing leaders highlighted how they tackled specific issues in their organization by embracing new technology during several Publisher Spotlights. Sponsors also presented brief case studies, explaining how their solution drove results for their publishing partners. And finally, seven technology startups competed in the FUSE Startup Derby, pitching attendees on their unique solutions.
At the close of FUSE, we hosted an Awards Dinner recognizing the most compelling sessions at FUSE. Attendees voted on the top Publisher Spotlight, the Best Case Study in Content, Ad Tech, and Marketing & Data categories, and the Startup Derby Winner. We also asked attendees to name one technology company that impressed them above all others and is a Company to Watch. Finally, the FUSE advisory board selected one attendee that took advantage of everything the summit had to offer, engaging deeply in the general sessions, case studies, and networking events.
We’re proud to announce the FUSE award winners and look forward to what these publishing leaders and technologists will accomplish in the years to come. The complete list of award winners is below.
