Google Announces New Version of Its Analytics Tool
Google unveiled a new version of Google Analytics last week. The product has undergone a redesign and features several new tools including e-mail reporting, a customizable dashboard, a trend-tracking graph and contextual help tips.
The new interface includes all previous features and has been redesigned for clarity, greater visibility of important metrics and ease of use. Additionally, users will still be able to access the old reporting interface for at least one month, and data and configuration settings will not be affected by the new version’s launch.
Particularly popular among publishers, Google Analytics enables users to make informed decisions about Web site management and Google AdWords campaigns by monitoring the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns.
