Hachette Filipacchi Media Signs Agreement With TheFind Inc.
Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. (HFM U.S.) announced yesterday that the company has agreed to a deal with TheFind Inc., a shopping search engine, to provide a discovery shopping experience on the company’s new Web site PointClickHome.com.
“By adding TheFind.com as a strategic partner, PointClickHome.com will give our users the ability to go through the entire process from inspiration to purchase when they are renovating, remodeling or decorating their home,” says HFM U.S. CEO Jack Kliger. “This resource is a great complement to the current editorial content which comes from our respected shelter brands ELLE Decor, Metropolitan Home, Home and others.”
TheFind.com’s “Product Ranking Engine” finds over 190 million products from more than 500,000 stores throughout the Internet and then displays them in order of popularity. HFM U.S. will assume advertising sales on the site and the “move is in line with our company’s strategy to provide advertisers with larger audiences across media in vertical segments including shelter, automotive, fashion, enthusiasts and women’s service and health,” says Philippe Guelton, executive vice president and chief operating officer of HFM U.S.
