Haymarket Acquires Compliance Week
Haymarket Media Inc., the U.S. arm of the U.K.-based media company Haymarket Media Group, has acquired Compliance Week from Boston-based Financial Media Holdings Group Inc. The transaction is expected to close July 1, but terms were not disclosed.
Compliance Week covers corporate governance, risk and compliance information for financial and legal executives at public companies. It was founded in 2002 by Scott Cohen and Frank Hertz and now includes a paid weekly e-newsletter, paid monthly print magazine, annual conference, and a paid-access Web site.

Haymarket publishes a dozen titles covering the marketing, public relations, medical and information security industries. Compliance Week will be added to the marketing and technology division of the company, which is run by Managing Director Lisa Kirk.
The Jordan, Edmiston Group Inc. advised Financial Media Holdings Group on the transaction.
