HFM U.S. Launches Photo/Electronics Group
Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. (HFM U.S.) this week announced the formation of its Photo/Electronics Group, which will include American Photo, Popular Photography and Sound & Vision magazines, in addition to digital portals PopPhoto.com and SoundandVisionmag.com.
The move allows the group to better position enhanced print and online integrated marketing packages, says Jeffrey Roberts, who will serve as vice president/publisher of the Photo/Electronics Group. The Group will also launch new branded events.
“These titles and Web sites are highly complementary on both the editorial and publishing fronts. This reorganization allows us to continue to serve our enthusiasts, as well as consumers seeking product advice,” says Jack Kliger, president and CEO of HFM U.S. “This move is in line with our overall strategy to deliver larger aggregated audiences, specifically in-market buyers, in key segment.”
