IDG Enterprise Names Thomas Rousseau as VP Alliance Programs
(Press Release) FRAMINGHAM, MA, Jan. 4, 2012—IDG Enterprise -- the media company comprising CFOworld, CIO, CIO Executive Council, Computerworld, CSO, DEMO, InfoWorld, ITworld and Network World -- announces the appointment of Thomas Rousseau as vice president, alliance programs.
In this role, Rousseau will be responsible for helping customers elevate their value to their partners with turnkey initiatives. Using the IDG Enterprise 4Cs methodology -- Content, Community, Conversation and Conversion -- to create unique programs and provide marketing services, marketers will have impactful ways to leverage their market strength for their partners' benefit and strengthen their partner alliances. IDG Enterprise will serve as an addition to the team to implement programs that will showcase the alliance's thought leadership and the benefits of working with them.

Rousseau brings more than 25 years of IT media experience to this role, including his knowledge of creating strategic marketing programs for leading IT product and solution providers, including AMD, Intel, Microsoft and VMware. Throughout his career in IT media, Rousseau has held senior sales leadership positions at Primedia, InfoWorld (an IDG company), United Business Media and most recently was senior vice president, strategic accounts and company sales coach for Ziff Davis Enterprise. In these positions he has successfully evolved his focus to include marketing services, digital media and demand generation. His successes in these initiatives led to his induction to the BtoB Industry Sales Executive Hall of Fame by MinOnline and Folio Magazine in 2011.
