In this role, Rousseau will be responsible for helping customers elevate their value to their partners with turnkey initiatives. Using the IDG Enterprise 4Cs methodology -- Content, Community, Conversation and Conversion -- to create unique programs and provide marketing services, marketers will have impactful ways to leverage their market strength for their partners' benefit and strengthen their partner alliances. IDG Enterprise will serve as an addition to the team to implement programs that will showcase the alliance's thought leadership and the benefits of working with them.
"Organizations are forming partner alliances to provide enhanced and collaborative solutions that meet the demands of their clients," said Michael Friedenberg, president and CEO of IDG Enterprise. "Showcasing the strength of the partner alliance through educational programs enables IT vendors to gain share of voice. IDG Enterprise will work with customers to integrate their message and thought leadership with the multimedia vehicles that fuse content with community and deliver this message to our IT audience that trusts and relies on IDG Enterprise brands to provide resources to help accelerate IT innovation within the enterprise."
Rousseau brings more than 25 years of IT media experience to this role, including his knowledge of creating strategic marketing programs for leading IT product and solution providers, including AMD, Intel, Microsoft and VMware. Throughout his career in IT media, Rousseau has held senior sales leadership positions at Primedia, InfoWorld (an IDG company), United Business Media and most recently was senior vice president, strategic accounts and company sales coach for Ziff Davis Enterprise. In these positions he has successfully evolved his focus to include marketing services, digital media and demand generation. His successes in these initiatives led to his induction to the BtoB Industry Sales Executive Hall of Fame by MinOnline and Folio Magazine in 2011.
"We are very excited to have Thomas join the IDG Enterprise team. He brings a wealth of experience in building programs for IT partner alliances," said Bob Melk, senior vice president, group publisher and CMO, IDG Enterprise. "His track record of building successful innovative programs for his customers will strongly tie into IDG Enterprise's culture of innovation, listening to customer needs, and execution on turnkey programs."
