FlightCheck Studio Resolves Design Problems With Quick And Easy
Detection And Correction
SANTA ANA, Calif. -- July 27, 2005 Markzware, the leading developer of
quality control for digital files used in the global graphic arts and
printing industries is pleased to announce the immediate availability of
Markzware FlightCheck Studio for Adobe InDesign CS and CS2.
FlightCheck Studio v1.3 is a new concept in quality control: Real-time
examination and repair of documents as you create them.
FlightCheck Studio provides content creators with an "in-flight"
preflighting tool; capable of detecting virtually any problem within a
digital document, based on user-defined specifications. FlightCheck
Studio's main purpose is to catch mistakes in a document while it is being
created.
FlightCheck Studio is the perfect preflight companion to Adobe InDesign's
"Package" feature working in real time to find and correct design problems
while the document is being created. As you go along creating a document,
with just one click FlightCheck Studio immediately presents the opportunity
to locate and quickly fix any potential problem.
It functions similar to the way a spell checker works. When you misspell a
word, a spell checker automatically highlights the error, and allows the
user to individually or globally correct it straightaway. FlightCheck
Studio functions in the same way. It will check your document against a
pre-defined specification. When a deviation from the specification is
detected, FlightCheck Studio will alert you to the problem, and will allow
you to repair the document problems you select.
The items FlightCheck Studio is capable of examining are items important to
designers or creatives. It can check for page size, layout, color space,
fonts, style sheets, image types, image resolution, etc. Production
managers can even set up a common specification to share with other
designers. As an example, a project manager can create a specification for
