MPA, The Association of Magazine Media, Names Mary G. Berner President and CEO
New York, NY (August 20, 2012) — Mary G. Berner has been named President & CEO, MPA , the Association of Magazine Media, it was announced today by Michael A. Clinton, Chairman of the MPA Board of Directors, and President, Marketing & Publishing Director, Hearst Magazines. Berner’s appointment becomes effective Sept. 17.

Berner’s appointment caps a search, led by Blinkhorn L.L.C. beginning late this spring, to find a replacement for current MPA President & CEO Nina Link. Link announced her decision to step down on June 7 and she will serve in an advisory capacity until the end of the year beginning September 17.
