Press Release: Ogden Publications Names Bill Uhler Publisher
TOPEKA, Kan. (April 24, 2015) - Bill Uhler has been named publisher of Ogden Publications by Robert Nutting, president and CEO of parent company The Nutting Co.
Ogden publishes Mother Earth News, Mother Earth Living, Grit, Capper's Farmer, Utne Reader, Farm Collector, Gas Engine Magazine and Motorcycle Classics, and produces Mother Earth News Fairs across the country.
Uhler most recently served as general manager and director of operations, and has been with Ogden for 11 years. He has more than 26 years of publishing industry experience, including publisher and associate publisher responsibilities at UBM.
"The Nutting family and I have been working on this transition for months, and I'm excited about the direction we're headed. We have built an incredible team here, some of whom I've worked with for more than 20 years. Our talent and strong brands will continue to drive Ogden's success," Uhler says.
Hank Will also has been appointed editorial director for Ogden's eight titles. He remains editor in chief of Grit and Capper's Farmer. Will has been with Ogden since 2007.
Robert Nutting announced the changes to employees earlier this week.

Outgoing publisher and editorial director Bryan Welch will lead B The Change Media, a new multiplatform media company.
