ONEcount Goes Mobile And Gets QR Codes
(Press Release) NORWALK, CT, November 2011—ONEcount Version 7.5 now supports a full mobile interface for all of its front-facing forms, allowing subscribers to fill out online forms using a smartphone or other mobile device.
ONEcount can automatically detect the type of device a user is on and present an appropriate look and feel for that device. The new version also includes a QR code generation and tracking tools that allow publishers to track click-throughs from QR codes scanned by mobile devices.
"This new release is part of the continual evolution of ONEcount as the industry's first truly integrated, cross-media audience management toolkit," said Sean Fulton, vice president of GCN Media. "These improvements make ONEcount easier to use and more powerful in its ability to collect, manage and verify audience data across all of a media company's varied products and platforms."
Other improvements in the ONEcount 7.5 release include a revolutionary new graphical subscribe/renew metaphor, and incorporation of audio files and scanned documents as part of a user's online record.
The new subscribe metaphor replaces the traditional checkboxes and radio buttons on subscribe forms with a color-coded, dashboard-like toolbar that that makes it easier for users to subscribe, renew or cancel registrations for print publications, digital editions, newsletters or web-site access. This increases user response rate, improving ONEcount's value as a registration and qualification tool.
ONEcount Version 7.5 supports uploading audio files and scanned documents as part of a batch import. This new functionality allows publishers to merge a telemarketing campaign into the system, archiving the audio recordings with the individual subscriber record for verification and audit purposes.
Data entry files can also uploaded, meaning you can import a list of subscribers who filled out print sub cards, and have a scan of the filled-out card archived with the subscriber record for later audit and verification purposes.
