Lifted Data = Millions in Lost Revenue
31% of data collection across the advertiser-supported digital media landscape is enabled by parties other than the publisher, in many cases without their consent. 27% of all data collection is done by potential competitors in media or data sales. The list of these "data skimmers" is very long—167 different companies have been tracked collecting data across the websites of just 50 publishers.
Data skimming and data theft represents at least $850 million in lost revenue annually for premium publishers.

App, App and Away
The worldwide mobile applications user base is expected to grow 37%, to 256 million, between 2009 and 2015. App downloads are expected to increase 53.2% over that same period, leading to revenues approaching $23 billion.
