MOBILE MARKETING BOOM
79% of businesses currently incorporate mobile marketing into their marketing strategies. Fifty-three percent of business decision makers see iPhone and smartphone apps as key to the effort, while 38 percent believe mobile tickets and coupons are key.
More than 60% of businesses believe that customers will increasingly look to engage with brands through their mobile devices. Customer retention and brand building are the primary aims of mobile marketing.

Large companies, defined as those having 100 or more employees, spend 18% of their total marketing budget on content marketing, while small companies (99 employees or less) spend 40% of their total marketing budget on content marketing. Fifty-nine percent of marketing professionals plan to increase spending on content initiatives, such as social media, mobile, whitepapers, articles, events and magazines, in 2010; only 7 percent plan to decrease such spending.
