Time Re-launches Health Brand
Time Inc. Chairman and CEO Ann Moore announced yesterday the publisher will re-launch its health brand at www.Health.com and with a redesigned Health magazine.
Health.com, which will launch on Monday, May 19, will offer a mix of original reporting, first-person stories, video, accredited medical content and community.
At the heart of the site will be its Health “journeys”—content devoted to the most commonly searched health conditions. “If you take the way a condition is experienced by real people in the real world, and you map it out visually as a series of steps, from symptoms through to survival and coping, what you have is a powerful, easy-to-navigate way of going through a condition,” says Scott Mowbray, Health.com’s editorial director.
Health magazine, published by Time subsidiary Southern Progress Corp., has been redesigned to feature a new logo, new sections and features, and a more modern look.
The magazine and Web site will share content, and the site will continue to roll out new features over the next year.
