Trio of Luxury City Magazine Publishers Merge
Sixteen controlled-circulation, luxury city magazine titles will be combined under one umbrella company as Greenspun Media Group, Ocean Drive Media Group and Niche Media Holdings will merge to become Niche Media, the companies announced this week.
The new company will have a combined distribution of more than 750,000 and—with an average of 5.9 readers per copy—reach more than 4.4 million readers in total.
Brian Greenspun (Greenspun Media Group) will serve as Niche Media’s chairman. Jerry Powers (Ocean Drive Media Group) has been named president, and Jason Binn (Niche Media Holdings) has been named the company’s CEO. The company’s headquarters will be in New York.
“This strategic partnership will make us the most powerful luxury publisher in the country,” says Powers. “Ocean Drive Media Group’s stable of readers and clients will now be able to simplify and amplify their access to a broader reach of the wealthiest segment of society.”
