If it isn't broken don't fix it. Crain Communications Inc. decided to continue its relationship with Quad/Graphics Inc. signing the Sussex, Wis., printer to a seven-year, $35 million contract extension. Quad/Graphics will print Crain's weekly business publications, Advertising Age, Television Week, Business Insurance, and Automotive News, and a monthly business-to-business publication. "Crain is pleased to extend its partnership with Quad/Graphics," says Bob Adams, group vice president of Crain Communications. "We look forward to the benefits of new technology, reduced cycle times and other value added enhancements that Quad's continuous improvement efforts provide." Latina Media Ventures Names Editorial Director

Latina Media Ventures, publisher of Latina Magazine, named Betty Cortina editorial director. One of the founding editors of O, The Oprah Magazine, Cortina will be responsible for new media ventures at Latina, a bilingual publication covering the Hispanic marketplace with a circulation of 225,000 and monthly readership totaling one million. In January 2001, The New York Daily News named Latina as one of the "Five to Watch" in review of ad sales for year ending 2000. Latina was similarly named one of the five "Best Magazines" by Advertising Age , and number three in Adweek's "10 Under 40." In total, Latina sold 850 ad
