One of the founding editors of O, The Oprah Magazine, Cortina will be responsible for new media ventures at Latina, a bilingual publication covering the Hispanic marketplace with a circulation of 225,000 and monthly readership totaling one million. In January 2001, The New York Daily News named Latina as one of the "Five to Watch" in review of ad sales for year ending 2000.
