At Reboot, Learn How Your Peers Are Changing to Achieve Sales Success
In just over a week, media sellers will convene in NYC for the second annual Reboot: Radically Transforming Media Sales. Leading Reboot is our Chief Media Alchemist Andrew Davis, of Reboot Ride-Along fame. In a series of interactive sessions, Davis will challenge media salespeople to sell marketing outcomes, help them get inside the head of the modern marketer, and demonstrate how to elevate the sales conversation using data.
Throughout the workshop Davis will employ a “Teach and Try” method. For example, Davis will show attendees how to invert their sales pitch to close more deals. Then he’ll call on attendees put his methods into practice and invert one of their existing sales presentations.
Davis' sessions will be complimented by two case studies presented by your peers in the media sales game. Duc Luu, VP of advertising at Foreign Affairs and Sarah Snell Cooke, market segment strategy leader at ALM will share their sales expertise at Reboot in two compelling case studies. Luu will explain how Foreign Affairs utilizes data insights to sell massive, year-long campaigns that clients frequently renew. Cooke will discuss how her editorial and sales teams work together to develop new advertising solutions and drive greater revenue.
For a taste of what Reboot has to offer, check out last year’s case study from CHARLIE magazine founder Caroline Nuttall here, where she discusses the audience publishers can deliver to advertisers through targeted content brands. You can also watch a portion of Mitchell Olszewksi’s case study in the video below. In this video Olszewski, formerly a media salesperson at the Houston Chronicle, explains how he educated his clients on the value of native advertising.
