Crain Communications believes that the audience should be at the center of everything it does, from content creation to events and advertising. "Our audience is our north star," says Bonnie Roche, managing director of audience, product & marketing at Crain. In 2017, the business publisher put this belief into action and launched Crain's Inner Circle, a membership program that encourages regular audience feedback from highly engaged readers. Crain set a goal of 200 members by 2018, but since launching, Inner Circle has grown to over 600 members.
