By publishing their content on platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn, publishers have opened Pandora's Box, says FUSE conference chair Jeffrey Litvack. Now publishers must deal with the consequences, like potentially losing traffic to platforms or giving away their audiences, and find new ways to make distributed content work for them. Despite these challenges, Litvack believes distributed content does offer new opportunities to publishers.
