Krystle Kopacz, CEO of publishing consulting firm Revmade, says that the newest and shiniest technologies are not enough to transform a publishing company. Along with evolving technology and business strategies, publishing executives must update their talent strategies too. Above all, Kopacz says that publishers should look to hire and nurture talent that is curious about innovation and willing to adapt to industry disruption. Publishing Executive spoke with Kopacz at the 2017 FUSE Media Summit, which she participated in as an attendee and advisory board member. In this interview Kopacz shares her advice on adapting to change, training existing staff in new skillsets, and spotting technologies that have the greatest revenue potential for publishers.
