Eric Zinczenko Named CEO of Bonnier Corp.
Bonnier Corp. chief executive David Freygang has stepped down from his position, passing control of the magazine company to executive V.P. Eric Zinczenko.
Freygang is retiring after a career of more than a quarter-century at Bonnier, the publisher of such special-interest magazines as Saveur and Field & Stream. Freygang replaced Terry Snow as C.E.O. in 2013 and named Zinczenko, who then led Bonnier's men's group, as executive V.P. of the entire company.
Zinczenko, 47, had joined Bonnier from Time Inc. in 2007, when the owner of Time andSports Illustrated sold its 18 enthusiast titles to Sweden's Bonnier AB.
