Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. Names Peter Medwid SVP and Publisher of Martha Stewart Living
(Press Release) NEW YORK, January 18, 2012—Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (MSLO) today announced that Peter Medwid has been appointed Senior Vice President and Publisher for Martha Stewart Living. Medwid, who brings experience from some of the media world’s leading lifestyle magazines, joins MSLO from Time Inc. and is part of a strategic move by MSLO to align its sales and marketing team around its magazine brands, which also include Everyday Food, Whole Living and Martha Stewart Weddings.
Prior to MSLO, Mr. Medwid held leadership roles at major flagship titles, including People and Cosmopolitan. At Time Inc., he served most recently as Vice President, Publisher of Sunset and Coastal Living and was previously Associate Publisher of People. Previously, he held publishing and managerial positions at Cosmopolitan, Disney Adventure, and Parade magazines.

As part of MSLO’s brand-centric shift, Christina Cranley has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Publisher of Everyday Food and Whole Living. She served most recently as Vice President, Integrated Sales. Amy Wilkins will continue in her role as Senior Vice President and Publisher for Martha Stewart Weddings.
