mediaIDEAS onPoint: Google Trends for "Magazines" from 2004-2011
This week's mediaIDEAS onPoint chart shows the average worldwide traffic for "magazines" from 2004 to the beginning months of 2011.
During this period, the search through Google for the term "magazines" fell by more than 75%. Though not statistically representative of the U.S., or the worldwide, population, Google trends does provide some insight into the interests of Internet users. And these users seem to be searching less and less for magazines.
