At the close of the expo on Monday, attendees ventured to the Marriott's Marquis Ballroom for the 2009 SustainPrint and Publishing Innovator of the Year Awards reception and dinner. David Granger, Editor-in-Chief, was on hand to accept the Publishing Innovator of the Year Award for Esquire's e-ink magazine cover. "
Other special honorees that evening included Harlequin Enterprises, Publishing Innovator of the Year for book publishing, and the SustainPrint Award winners: Melcher Media, Boho magazine, University of California Press and Ogden Publications -- which were honored for their achievements in environmental sustainability in publishing.
