Vance Publishing Makes First Digital-only Acquisitions
Vance Publishing Corp., the Lincolnshire, Ill.-based publisher of 20 business-to-business magazines, announced the acquisition this week of CattleNetwork.com and CattleStore.com, a pair of Internet-based businesses that serve the farm and ranch communities. The deal marks Vance’s first solely digital acquisition.

Vance. “It reinforces our position as the premier business-to-business multimedia communications resource in the markets we serve. We will continue to pursue acquisition opportunities that will increase services to our customers and strengthen our existing product lines.”
The two new digital properties, purchased from Integrated Management Information Inc. in Colorado, will be added to Vance’s Food360 group, which includes Drovers, Dairy Herd Management, Bovine Veterinarian and Pork magazines, Web sites, e-newsletters and more.
