What Startups Will Shake Up The Media Biz in 2017?
Publishing Executive is always on the lookout for new technology that is changing the media businesss. We keep our eyes peeled on the Google News feed and sort through the endless press releases that fill our inboxes. We thought we’d ask our readers to help identify the next media disruptor.
Last year we made a commitment to cover the media tech startup space, launching the Media Pitch blog where startups have a platform to pitch media executives on the value of their solution. We heard from startups determined to dismantle ad blocking, simplify publishers’ tech stacks, and reveal powerful insights hidden in audience data. (See full list of pitches below.)
At the FUSE Media Summit last year we brought these conversations to life, inviting seven startups to pitch a room full of digital media executives in a Startup Derby. At the end of the conference, attendees voted on the most innovative startup, crowning the Startup Derby Champion.
Have you heard about a startup that helps publishing and media companies run their businesses more effectively or effiently? New content engagement tools? Solutions to monetize audience or parse data in new ways?
